Pakistan and Egypt have agreed to provide facilitated visa access to 250 Pakistani businesses in the first phase of their trade cooperation initiative, with plans to expand this to 500 businesses in the second phase. This move is aimed at enhancing trade ties and promoting private-sector engagement between the two countries. In addition, both nations will establish the Pakistan–Egypt Business Council and Business Forum, scheduled to launch in mid-2026. These platforms are designed to strengthen business-to-business linkages and collaboration across key sectors, including textiles, information technology, energy, agriculture, and logistics. The initiative is expected to create new opportunities for investment, trade partnerships, and economic cooperation, further deepening bilateral relations and supporting growth in both countries’ private sectors.
