The UAE has implemented significant visa reforms to simplify travel for Pakistani citizens, introducing online visa processing, e-visas that do not require passport stamping, and a dedicated visa centre capable of handling up to 500 applications daily.

UAE Ambassador Salem Al Zaabi shared these updates during a meeting with Pakistan’s Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, emphasizing enhanced digital connectivity and recognizing the contributions of Pakistani professionals in the UAE.

The visa reforms are designed to facilitate business travel, investment, and strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries. Discussions also focused on expanding collaboration in trade, technology, education, agriculture, and defence, with the UAE showing interest in attracting Pakistani companies and boosting economic partnerships.
