Azerbaijan Introduces E-Visa Facility for Pakistani Tourists to Simplify Travel Process

Azerbaijan has introduced an electronic visa system for Pakistani tourists to simplify and speed up the visa application process. The new e-visa facility allows travelers to apply online without visiting an embassy, making travel to Azerbaijan more accessible for Pakistani citizens.

Pakistani applicants can choose between two types of Azerbaijan e-visas based on their travel needs. The standard e-visa is processed within three working days, while the urgent e-visa is issued within a few hours. Applicants are informed about the status of their visa application through email, and they can also check the application outcome directly through the official visa system if required.

To apply for an Azerbaijan visit visa, applicants must submit their request through the official online visa portal. The process involves completing the application form, paying the required fee, and downloading the approved electronic visa. The simplified three-step system ensures a smooth and user-friendly experience for travelers planning a short-term visit.

The cost of a single-entry Azerbaijan e-visit visa for a stay of up to 30 days under the standard category is 20 US dollars. An additional service charge of 9 US dollars applies for processing the application, bringing the total fee to 29 US dollars, which is approximately Rs8,190. The urgent e-visa option costs 50 US dollars, equivalent to around Rs14,122, and is typically processed within three to five hours.

An Azerbaijan electronic visa remains valid for 90 days from the date of issuance and allows visitors to stay in the country for up to 30 days. This initiative is expected to boost tourism by making travel easier and more efficient for Pakistani travelers interested in visiting Azerbaijan.
