Gold price per tola gains Rs4,200 in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Wednesday, reflecting gains in the international market, with per tola gold increasing by Rs4,200 and silver also rising.

Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Wednesday in line with their gain in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs463,936 after a gain of Rs4,200 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs397,750 after it increased by Rs3,601, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Tuesday, gold price per tola reached Rs459,736 after a gain of Rs2,400 during the day.

The international rate of gold was up by $42 to reach $4,415 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by Rs146 to reach Rs7,111 per tola.
