Mobilink Bank Wins Digital Banking and Gender Diversity Honours from CFA Society Pakistan and UN Women
Mobilink Bank has been named Best Digital Banking Services provider for the fourth consecutive year at the CFA Society Pakistan awards, while also receiving a Gender Diversity Award and recognition at the UN Women 2026 Asia-Pacific WEPs Awards.

Mobilink Bank, one of Pakistan's largest microfinance institutions, has received three separate honours recognising its digital banking performance and its efforts to build a more gender-diverse organisation. The bank took the 'Best Digital Banking Services of the Year 2025' award in the telecoms category at CFA Society Pakistan's 23rd Annual Excellence Awards, marking the fourth straight year it has been recognised in that area.
At the same ceremony, Mobilink Bank was given the 'Gender Diversity Award FY 2026' in the non-banking financial institutions category. According to the bank, the twin recognition reflects both the reach of its digital-first model and its long-running focus on inclusion. Together with JazzCash, Mobilink Bank reports a registered user base of more than 67 million people, supported by a nationwide network of over 2.3 million merchants and agents.
Over the past year the bank launched digital Islamic banking operations and continued to expand digital onboarding through its Dost app, steps it says are aimed at widening access to formal finance for small businesses and underserved communities. The gender diversity award highlights that women now make up 44 percent of the bank's senior leadership. Beyond its own workforce, the bank says it serves more than 23 million women users and over 5 million women borrowers together with JazzCash, with lending to women exceeding PKR 163 billion. It has also trained 31,000 women in financial literacy, while its WIN Incubator has graduated 28 women-led startups.
Aamir Ibrahim, Chairman of Mobilink Bank and CEO of JazzWorld, said the fourth consecutive digital banking award was a strong testament to the trust millions of customers place in the bank and to staff efforts to keep raising the bar in digital financial services. He added that the gender diversity recognition reflects an equally important commitment to building an institution where everyone has the opportunity to lead and grow, and that the honours reinforce the ambition to expand financial access and create greater economic opportunities for Pakistanis.
Haaris M. Chaudhary, President and CEO of Mobilink Bank, said the repeated recognition from CFA Society Pakistan signals that the bank's chosen direction is delivering results. He described its digital-first model, people agenda and diversity commitments as parts of a single ambition: building a more inclusive financial ecosystem that serves Pakistan better, particularly small businesses and women. While the awards are encouraging, he said, they also raise the bar for what the bank must do next.
The bank was also recently recognised with the Community Engagement and Partnerships Award at the UN Women 2026 Asia-Pacific WEPs Awards, which acknowledged its efforts to advance women's economic participation through inclusive partnerships and community-led initiatives.
