Punjab to Release Smart Syllabus for Classes 9–12 on November 7, 2026

Punjab's education authorities are set to publish a smart syllabus for students in Classes 9, 10, 11 and 12, according to an announcement by Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat. The Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) will release the details on November 7, 2026.

The minister said officials are putting the finishing touches on the syllabus, with preparations now in their final stages. PECTAA will publish the details for all four classes as part of the announcement, giving students a clear outline of what they are expected to study.

The release is intended to help students preparing for next year's board examinations, covering both secondary students in Classes 9 and 10 and higher secondary students in Classes 11 and 12. According to Hayat, the smart syllabus is designed to make it easier for candidates to sit their board examinations next year.

The minister confirmed that PECTAA would share the syllabus details on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Students and parents are advised to watch for the official publication from the authority rather than relying on unverified material circulating online.

The move is part of broader efforts to streamline the curriculum and give exam candidates a more focused study plan ahead of the board exams. Further details, including subject-wise breakdowns, are expected to be made available when the authority publishes the syllabus.
