Jaecoo has introduced the J5 EV in Pakistan, adding a new locally assembled electric SUV to the country's expanding electric vehicle market. The model is being offered in two variants, with the company quoting a claimed driving range of up to 405 kilometers on a full charge.

According to the company, the Jaecoo J5 EV is equipped with a 49.5kWh battery pack and carries an NEDC-rated range of 405 kilometers. Buyers will also receive a complimentary 11kW charger with the vehicle, while a space-saving spare tire is included as a practical addition.

Jaecoo has announced introductory pricing for both variants, with the offer stated to remain valid until November 30, 2026. The booking amount has been set at Rs. 1.2 million for the Comfort variant and Rs. 1.5 million for the Premium variant.

Customers can reserve either version by visiting their nearest authorized Jaecoo dealership. The company noted that the introductory prices will stay available through the stated deadline, and interested buyers can contact dealerships directly for booking and delivery details.

The launch adds another locally assembled electric option to Pakistan's automotive sector, which has seen growing interest in battery-electric vehicles in recent years. Local assembly is increasingly viewed as a way to make electric models more accessible while supporting domestic manufacturing activity.
