Sindh Health Department Announces 302 Union Council Immunization Officer Jobs

The Sindh Health Department has announced 302 vacancies for Union Council Immunization Officers (UCIOs) across Karachi and Hyderabad, as part of efforts to strengthen routine vaccination coverage and support polio eradication activities at the grassroots level. The recruitment is being managed by the Directorate of the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) under its EPI-PEI Synergy initiative.

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of PKR 70,000 plus a mobility allowance of PKR 10,000, bringing total monthly compensation to PKR 80,000. The roles are full-time, field-based positions focused on routine immunization and supplementary immunization activities at the union council level.

Appointments will initially be made on a one-year contract, which may be renewed subject to performance, program requirements, and the availability of funding. The department has invited applications from both male and female candidates who meet the eligibility criteria.

Applicants must hold a relevant qualification in public health, healthcare, biological sciences, or related disciplines, with preference given to those holding a Master's degree in Public Health (MPH).
