Vivo is preparing to bring its next V-series smartphone to Pakistan, with a new report indicating that the Vivo V80 will launch in the country as early as next week. Ahead of the official announcement, pricing details for both storage variants have surfaced, giving local buyers an early look at what to expect.

According to a report dated November 6, the Vivo V80 will be priced at Rs. 209,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model, while the higher-end 8GB RAM and 512GB variant will reportedly cost Rs. 249,999. These figures remain unofficial and could be adjusted once Vivo confirms availability and final retail pricing in Pakistan.

The Vivo V80 builds on the V70 with several meaningful upgrades. It carries a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness, along with slim 1.25mm bezels and IP68/IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. Powering the device is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

On the software side, the handset runs OriginOS 7 based on Android 17 and includes an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Vivo is also highlighting AI features such as AI Recorder, Capture to Note and Security Shield, and is promising six years of security updates. The phone is expected to be offered in Rise Orange, Vision Green and Prime Gray color options.

Photography is a major focus of the Vivo V80, which features a ZEISS-branded triple rear camera system. The setup includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700V main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. A 50MP autofocus selfie camera with a 92-degree field of view sits on the front, and the device supports 4K video recording at up to 60fps.

The most notable change is the battery, which grows to 7,200mAh from the 6,500mAh cell in the Vivo V70, potentially offering significantly longer usage between charges. With the launch reportedly just days away, Pakistani buyers will soon have official confirmation of pricing, availability and launch offers for the Vivo V80.
