The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) has announced 15 paid internship positions aimed at fresh graduates, offering a monthly stipend of Rs60,000 for a programme that can run for up to six months. The initiative is designed to give young professionals hands-on exposure to federal public-sector governance, technical education and research.

According to the official recruitment announcement, the opportunity is open to candidates who have completed at least 16 years of education in disciplines such as Economics, Finance, Law, Social Sciences, Engineering, Technology and Information Technology. Applicants must be between 20 and 30 years of age, and no prior professional experience is required.

Selected interns will receive a lump-sum monthly stipend of Rs60,000, subject to their monthly performance reports. The commission said the programme aims to familiarise fresh graduates with government operations, technical and vocational education, and research activities, while helping them build professional skills in an organisational setting.

Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. NAVTTC said it will also give preference to applicants able to use additional software such as Adobe InDesign, SPSS, Tableau or Python.

Applications must be submitted through the official government employment portal. The portal lists November 14, 2026, as the deadline for submissions, and interested candidates have been advised to apply before the closing date.

The internship is positioned as a structured pathway for graduates seeking early-career exposure to public-sector work, with the commission emphasising practical learning in technical education and research alongside day-to-day government processes.
