PCB Sets Ticket Prices for Pakistan vs Sri Lanka Test Series
Tickets for the first Pakistan-Sri Lanka Test in Rawalpindi go on sale Friday, with general enclosure seats priced at just Rs. 200 per day as the PCB looks to pack the stadium.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced ticket prices for the opening Test of the upcoming series against Sri Lanka, with sales scheduled to begin on Friday at 2 p.m. The first Test will be staged at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from November 9 to 13, and tickets will be available at designated TCS Express Centers across Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
In a move aimed at drawing large crowds, the PCB has set the daily ticket price at Rs. 200 for the General, First-Class, Premium and VIP enclosures. Fans seeking a more exclusive experience can purchase seats in the PCB Gallery, located in the stadium's main building, for Rs. 800 per person per day, while Platinum Box seats are priced at Rs. 8,000 per person per day.
The stadium's enclosures carry the names of former Pakistan cricketers. The General category covers the Miran Bakhsh and Sohail Tanvir enclosures, while First-Class seating is available in the Shoaib Akhtar and Yasir Arafat sections. The Premium tier includes the Azhar Mahmood and Javed Miandad enclosures, with the Imran Khan and Javed Akhtar sections falling under the VIP category.
The second Test is set to be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from November 17 to 21. The PCB said details regarding ticket sales for the Lahore match will be announced at a later date. Both fixtures form part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle.
The series marks Sri Lanka's first Test tour of Pakistan since 2019, when the hosts claimed a 1-0 series victory under Azhar Ali's captaincy. The opening Test in Rawalpindi ended in a draw before Pakistan secured a win in Karachi.
Historically, the two sides have met in 59 Test matches, with Pakistan winning 23 and Sri Lanka claiming 17 victories. The remaining 19 encounters ended in draws, setting up an intriguing contest as both teams look to strengthen their positions in the World Test Championship standings.
