33 Terrorists Killed in Balochistan Operations, Says ISPR

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Friday that security forces have killed 33 terrorists associated with Indian-backed groups in ongoing counterterrorism operations throughout Balochistan since September 21.

ISPR reported that Operation Shaban continued on September 24, during which security forces targeted terrorist hideouts in the area. Five terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire, raising the total eliminated in Operation Shaban to 22.

Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered during these operations. ISPR added that clearance operations would remain ongoing until all threats were neutralised.

In a separate intelligence-based operation in Nushki district on September 25, security forces engaged a terrorist hideout, resulting in 11 more terrorists killed after an intense encounter.

According to the ISPR, these operations are part of Pakistan’s broader counterterrorism efforts against foreign-supported terrorist groups active in Balochistan.

The military’s statement reaffirmed that security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their operations under Azm-e-Istehkam, aligning with the vision approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. ISPR reiterated the determination of security forces to eradicate terrorism from the country.
