Zuma Resources Sets Up UK Subsidiary to Expand Global Connectivity

Zuma Resources Limited, a Pakistan-based technology firm, has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary in the United Kingdom as part of its plans to expand its global digital connectivity operations.

In a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday, the company announced the establishment of Zuma Global Ltd in England and Wales. The new entity was registered on 18 September 2026 under the UK Companies Act 2006.

According to Zuma Resources, the creation of Zuma Global Ltd aims to extend the group's technology and connectivity-related business activities in international markets. The subsidiary will oversee the firm’s operations in the UK, where Zuma is moving forward with the introduction of SIM and digital connectivity services.

The incorporation documents indicate that Zuma Global will operate from a registered office in London. Its main areas of business will include information technology consultancy, various IT services, and other telecommunications activities. The documents also name Sohaib Anwar, a Pakistani national, as the director of Zuma Global.

As part of its preparations for entering the UK market, Zuma Resources has initiated formal regulatory processes with the UK’s Office of Communications (Ofcom). The company stated that it is aligning its operations and customer frameworks with UK regulatory and consumer-compliance requirements.

Zuma Global plans to offer digital eSIMs, physical SIMs, and related connectivity solutions through its technology platforms and a global eSIM marketplace. The company emphasised that the UK will play a significant role as an operational base for its broader strategy of global expansion in digital connectivity and technology.
