NADRA Explains CNIC Delivery Options for Mobile Registration Van Applicants
NADRA has outlined how citizens who apply for CNICs through Mobile Registration Vans can receive their cards via home delivery, designated office pickup, or centre allocation if no option is chosen.

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued guidance on how citizens can collect their Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) after applying through its Mobile Registration Vans (MRVs). The service allows applicants to submit their CNIC applications without visiting a permanent registration office, with the authority offering multiple ways to receive the finished card.
According to NADRA, applicants can choose between home delivery and collection from a designated registration centre at the time of submission. Those opting for home delivery must provide a correct and complete address, since the identity card will be dispatched to the address recorded in the application. NADRA advised applicants to double-check their address details to prevent delivery problems.
For citizens who select the office delivery option, the card must be collected from the NADRA registration centre chosen during the application process. Applicants can visit the designated office after the prescribed processing period to receive their CNICs.
NADRA also clarified the procedure for applicants who do not select any delivery method while registering. In such cases, staff will inform the applicant of the nearest registration centre where the card can be collected. The citizen can then visit that centre after the processing period to obtain the identity card.
The authority further advised applicants to keep their application receipts or tracking IDs safe after completing registration through a Mobile Registration Van. The receipt or tracking ID must be presented when collecting the identity card following the prescribed processing period.
The clarification is aimed at helping citizens who use the mobile registration service understand their collection responsibilities and avoid delays in receiving their identity documents.
