The Pakistan Airports Authority has opened the bidding process for consultants to participate in the development of a new airport in Sukkur. The call targets firms specializing in airport design, master planning, and feasibility studies. Interested companies are required to submit their applications to the Planning and Development Directorate by October 22. Preference will be given to firms with proven experience in airport infrastructure projects.

This initiative is part of a broader plan previously approved by the federal government, which includes the construction of new airports in Sukkur, Mirpur in Azad Kashmir, and Dera Ismail Khan. The goal is to enhance regional air connectivity and accommodate increasing passenger demand across the country.
