Thatta Cement Company Limited (THCCL) has revealed that its fully owned subsidiary, Minsk Work Tractor & Assembling (Private) Limited, has entered into an exclusive agreement with OJSC Minsk Tractor Works of Belarus to assemble and locally manufacture Belarus tractors in Balochistan. This strategic partnership is aimed at advancing agricultural mechanization in Pakistan while contributing to industrial development within the province.
The initiative is expected to generate employment opportunities, facilitate the transfer of technical expertise, and strengthen local manufacturing capabilities. By producing high-power tractors domestically, the project aligns with national efforts to modernize the agriculture sector and reduce reliance on imports. Industry analysts view the agreement as a significant move toward enhancing agricultural productivity and supporting economic growth through industrial collaboration and localized production.
