Pakistan and Qatar have signed a protocol solidifying commitments across a range of sectors, marking a new chapter in bilateral cooperation. The agreement includes a $3 billion investment from the Qatar Investment Authority and was finalized during the Sixth Pakistan-Qatar Joint Ministerial Commission.
The partnership aims to deepen collaboration in key areas such as economy, transport, health, education, culture, and information technology. Both nations agreed to work jointly on major infrastructure projects, expand technical and vocational training programs, enhance healthcare cooperation, and promote cultural and academic exchanges.
A significant focus of the protocol is on advancing the digital economy through shared expertise and innovation. In addition, Qatar has expressed interest in employing more skilled Pakistani workers, strengthening labor ties between the two countries.
The new agreement reflects a shared vision for sustainable development and long-term economic partnership, positioning Pakistan and Qatar as strategic partners in regional growth and cooperation.
