Imperial College London is preparing to launch its first campus in Pakistan, located at the Nawaz Sharif IT City in Lahore. This exciting development was announced during a high-level meeting led by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, where progress on major projects such as the Central Business District (CBD) and the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) was reviewed.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the new campus is planned for November 2025. Alongside the academic facilities, the project will feature a modern 300-bed teaching hospital. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has instructed officials to speed up the development work and prioritize completing the Ravi river bund before the upcoming flood season, ensuring both infrastructure and environmental safety.
