HKC has introduced the G27M5Pro gaming monitor as part of its Nebula series, and it is currently available for under $250. The monitor is built around a Fast IPS panel with a 2560 × 1440 resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio, offering a smooth and sharp gaming experience. It supports an overclocked refresh rate of 340Hz and delivers a 1ms gray-to-gray response time for fast-paced gameplay.

The G27M5Pro uses a QD-Mini LED backlight system with 1,152 local dimming zones, which helps improve brightness and contrast control. In standard mode, the monitor reaches 550 nits of brightness, while HDR mode boosts brightness up to 1,400 nits. The display is VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certified, making it suitable for high dynamic range content.

Color accuracy and image quality are strong points of the monitor. It supports 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 100 percent of the sRGB color space. HKC says the monitor is factory-calibrated and maintains an average Delta E value of 2 or less. The panel supports 10-bit color through 8-bit plus frame rate control processing, allowing it to display up to 1.07 billion colors.

For motion handling, the G27M5Pro includes DIC 2.0 motion blur reduction technology with three levels of motion clarity adjustment. HKC notes that this system works alongside HDR and local dimming to maintain contrast during fast motion. The monitor also features LCD light tracking technology to reduce halo effects and improve responsiveness during rapid transitions.

The design includes a three-sided narrow-bezel display and a compact stand that supports height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and pivot rotation. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, and a 3.5mm audio output. The monitor supports variable refresh rate technology and includes a 100 × 100 mm VESA mount for flexible setup.
