Samsung has unveiled its Galaxy Book6 laptop lineup at CES 2026, featuring Intel’s latest Core Ultra Series 3 processors built on the advanced 18A process, a 1.8nm-class node. The combination of these next-generation chips and a redesigned cooling system allows the Galaxy Book6 Pro and Ultra models to operate more efficiently, run cooler, and deliver up to 30 hours of battery life, offering significant improvements over previous generations.

The Galaxy Book6 series includes three models: Galaxy Book6, Galaxy Book6 Pro, and Galaxy Book6 Ultra. The Ultra model is available only in a 16-inch display, while the standard and Pro models come in 14-inch and 16-inch options. The Pro and Ultra variants feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreens with adaptive refresh rates from 30Hz to 120Hz, Gorilla Glass with DXC coating to reduce reflections by up to 75 percent, and True Bright 1300 and True Black 0.0005 nits certifications. These displays support up to 500 nits brightness for SDR content and up to 1,000 nits for HDR. The base Galaxy Book6 uses a 350-nit IPS LCD panel.

Performance is powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with up to 16 cores combining performance and efficiency cores. Samsung claims up to 60 percent higher CPU performance compared to the previous generation, along with a neural processing unit capable of 50 TOPS. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra can be configured with Core Ultra X9, X7, 9, or 7 series processors, Intel Arc integrated graphics, or dedicated Nvidia GPUs including GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 with 8GB of GDDR7 memory. RAM options range from 16GB to 64GB LPDDR5X depending on the configuration, with storage capacities from 512GB to 2TB PCIe SSDs and additional expansion slots. The Galaxy Book6 Pro supports Core Ultra X7, 7, or 5 processors, 16GB or 32GB RAM, and storage from 256GB to 1TB with expansion options, while the standard Galaxy Book6 uses older Core Ultra 7 or 5 processors with up to 32GB RAM.

Battery performance has been enhanced, with the Pro and Ultra models offering up to 30 hours of video playback. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra features an 80.20Wh battery supporting 100W fast charging, or 140W for models with Nvidia GPUs. The Galaxy Book6 Pro comes with 67.18Wh (14-inch) and 78.07Wh (16-inch) batteries supporting 65W USB-C charging, while the standard Galaxy Book6 includes a 61.20Wh battery with 45W charging.

Samsung redesigned the cooling system for the Pro and Ultra models, using vapor chambers and enlarged fins to improve heat dissipation by 35 percent. A larger intake fan enhances airflow while reducing noise. The Galaxy Book6 Pro is the slimmest, with the 14-inch model measuring 11.6mm thick and weighing 1.24kg, and the 16-inch model at 11.9mm and 1.59kg. The Ultra is 15.4mm thick and weighs 1.79kg, or 1.89kg with Nvidia graphics. The standard Galaxy Book6 is 14.9mm thick, with 14-inch and 16-inch models weighing 1.48kg and 1.75kg, respectively. The Ultra features a six-speaker system with Dolby Atmos, while the Pro uses a similar setup on the 16-inch model and a two-speaker setup on the 14-inch.

Connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-A, HDMI 2.1 supporting up to 8K at 60Hz or 5K at 120Hz, an SD card reader, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4 on the Pro and Ultra. The standard Galaxy Book6 offers USB-C, USB-A, HDMI, Ethernet, microSD, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.4.

Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Book6 series in select markets later this month, with pricing details to be announced. Enterprise Edition models will become available starting in April.
