Punjab Allocates Budget to Establish Dedicated Tourism Force

The Punjab Finance Department has disclosed the budget allocation for the Tourism Department, making funding details publicly available to ensure transparency. A total of Rs200 million has been allocated for the establishment of the Punjab Tourism Force to enhance security, guidance, and facilities at tourist destinations across the province.

Additionally, Rs100 million has been set aside for the upgradation of the TDCP Resort Jallo to improve tourism infrastructure. Under the Punjab Development Programme, the government has also released Rs450 million for various development projects aimed at promoting tourism and related facilities throughout the province.
