Dubai RTA Launches AI-Powered Traffic System 'UX Fusion' to Sync Signals with Car Dashboards

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority is introducing an advanced AI-driven traffic management system designed to improve driving efficiency and safety by connecting traffic signals directly to vehicle dashboards. The new system, known as UX Fusion, uses computer vision and real-time data analytics to monitor traffic patterns, vehicle types, and pedestrian activity across the city.

This technology aims to enhance road communication by synchronizing multiple traffic signals along key corridors, allowing for smoother traffic flow and reducing the number of stops drivers face. By analyzing traffic conditions dynamically, the system can adjust signals in real time to improve overall road efficiency.

One of the system’s key features is its ability to deliver live updates directly to car dashboards. Drivers will receive real-time alerts such as countdowns for red and green lights, safe driving speeds based on current traffic flow, and warnings about potential congestion ahead. These updates are intended to support informed driving decisions and reduce the likelihood of accidents.

To ensure wide adoption, the RTA is working in collaboration with international automobile manufacturers to integrate the system into modern vehicles.
