GWM has become the first Chinese automotive brand to produce 25,000 locally assembled (CKD) SUVs in Pakistan, marking a significant milestone for the company and the country’s automotive industry. The achievement was announced during GWM’s recent “Quartera” event, highlighting the brand’s expanding manufacturing capabilities.
Reports indicate that production continued to grow, with nearly 26,000 units completed by late December 2025. This success reflects GWM’s strong market performance, with its Haval models leading the combined SUV and pickup segment and surpassing even Toyota in overall sales.
The milestone underscores China’s increasing influence in Pakistan’s automotive sector, showcasing the rising demand for locally produced SUVs and the growth of Chinese automotive brands in the country.
