Petroleum prices in Pakistan are expected to change from February 2026, with most fuels likely becoming more expensive, sources reported. Petrol may see a small decrease of up to 36 paisa per litre, while high-speed diesel is expected to rise by as much as Rs9.47 per litre. Kerosene oil could increase by Rs3.69 per litre, and light diesel oil may go up by up to Rs6.95 per litre.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has finalized its initial calculations and will submit the pricing summary to the Petroleum Division on 31 January. The Petroleum Division will announce the revised rates after receiving the prime minister’s approval, and the new prices will remain in effect until 15 February.

In the previous fortnightly review, the government decided to keep petrol and diesel rates unchanged after evaluating domestic fuel trends, supply factors, and overall market conditions.
