U.S. President Donald Trump urged Iran to negotiate a deal on nuclear weapons, warning that any future U.S. attack would be far more severe. Trump called on Iran to “come to the table” for a fair and equitable agreement that ensures no nuclear weapons, emphasizing that time is running out. He noted that his previous warning had been followed by a military strike and mentioned that another U.S. naval “armada” is positioned near Iran.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated that he had not been in contact with U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff recently and was not seeking negotiations, according to Iranian state media.
