TCL has quietly expanded its K-series lineup with two new 4G smartphones, the TCL K70 and TCL K70 Power, while a third variant, likely named K70 SE, has also appeared with limited details.
The TCL K70 Power has been listed on Lazada Thailand, making it the most detailed of the new models. It features a 6.8-inch LCD display with a 720 × 1,570 pixel resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen supports a sunlight mode that boosts peak brightness up to 750 nits. A punch-hole cutout houses an 8-megapixel front camera. The phone also comes with an IP64 splash resistance rating and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The standard TCL K70 uses the same 6.8-inch 120Hz 720p+ LCD panel. A user manual for the device is already available on TCL’s official website, although it has not yet appeared widely in retail listings. The K70 Power is offered in Nebula Blue and Space Gray color options.
Under the hood, the TCL K70 Power is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Turbo chipset and comes in two memory configurations: 4GB or 8GB of RAM, both paired with 256GB storage. It includes a hybrid SIM slot that supports either dual SIM cards or a single SIM plus microSD expansion. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC, while the phone supports 4G networks and uses a USB-C port with USB 2.0 speeds.
The TCL K70 is also powered by the Helio G100 chipset, but currently only a 4GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration is listed.
Camera-wise, the K70 Power packs a 50-megapixel main rear camera, supported by an additional sensor that acts as a supplementary lens rather than a full secondary camera. The front camera is an 8-megapixel shooter. Camera details for the standard K70 remain limited beyond the user manual and listings.
A key difference between the two models is battery capacity. The TCL K70 Power includes a large 6,500mAh battery with 33W wired charging support. Official claims suggest the phone can last up to three days on a single charge, deliver over 12 hours of gaming, or offer up to 21 hours of video playback. The TCL K70, meanwhile, uses a smaller 5,200mAh battery.
Pricing listed for the K70 Power shows the 4GB RAM and 256GB storage model at around $415, while the 8GB RAM version is listed at about $445.
In summary, the TCL K70 and K70 Power bring larger displays, 120Hz refresh rates, and strong battery capacities to the K-series lineup, with the K70 Power standing out for its larger battery, higher storage, and slightly upgraded chipset.
