During his visit to Beijing Police College, Naqvi inspected high-tech training facilities and observed live demonstrations of suspect arrests using police vehicles, praising the operational efficiency and professional skills of the Beijing Police force.
The minister highlighted his admiration for the capabilities and training standards of the vehicle squad and confirmed that an agreement will be signed between the National Police Academy of Pakistan and Beijing Police College to strengthen bilateral cooperation. During the visit, Naqvi also tested an advanced driving simulator and was briefed by the president of Beijing Police College on the use of technology-driven training systems, including artificial intelligence and modern methods for handling protests, violence, and crime. The college offers comprehensive academic and practical training through its 12 faculties, employs over 400 instructors, and nearly half of its faculty hold PhD degrees, emphasizing a strong focus on AI-based and technology-driven policing methods.
