At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Verge Motorcycles showcased a major advancement in electric motorcycle technology with the unveiling of the updated TS Pro, now powered by an all-solid-state battery developed in partnership with Donut Lab. This innovation marks a significant step forward for electric vehicles, as solid-state batteries offer substantial improvements over traditional lithium-ion technology in terms of energy density, safety, and longevity.

Unlike conventional lithium-ion batteries that rely on liquid electrolytes, the TS Pro’s solid-state battery uses solid materials to store and transfer energy. This design reduces the risk of overheating, increases durability, and allows for much faster charging cycles. Verge Motorcycles reports that the TS Pro can travel up to 370 miles on a single charge, a major increase over current high-end electric motorcycles, and can gain approximately 186 miles of range in just 10 minutes of charging. Such performance significantly reduces downtime for riders and enhances the practicality of electric motorcycles for long-distance travel.

The introduction of a solid-state battery also represents a breakthrough in EV safety and longevity. Solid-state batteries are less prone to swelling, leakage, or fire hazards, making them more reliable under high-stress conditions. In addition, the higher energy density allows the TS Pro to maintain a lighter weight compared to motorcycles with traditional batteries, improving handling, stability, and overall ride performance.

Verge Motorcycles confirmed that deliveries of the updated TS Pro are expected to begin in early 2026, positioning it as the first production motorcycle to feature solid-state battery technology. Industry experts note that this launch could set a new standard for electric motorcycles, influencing other manufacturers to adopt solid-state solutions and accelerate the transition toward long-range, fast-charging electric mobility.

The Verge TS Pro with solid-state battery combines cutting-edge energy storage technology, high performance, and practical usability, making it a landmark development in the global electric vehicle market. Its introduction at CES 2026 underscores the growing focus on sustainable transportation solutions and the role of advanced battery technologies in shaping the future of motorcycling.
