The Green Tractor Scheme Phase 3 is a government initiative designed to support Pakistan’s farmers by providing subsidized tractors, enabling them to adopt modern farming practices and improve productivity. The program aims to reduce reliance on manual labor, increase crop yields, and boost farmers’ incomes, particularly for small-scale operators.
Under the scheme, a variety of tractors from brands like Ferguson, New Holland, Kubota, and SDF are offered at subsidized rates. Prices vary depending on model and specifications, with a 50-horsepower tractor typically costing between Rs. 500,000 and Rs. 600,000, significantly lower than market prices.
Farmers can apply online through the official Green Tractor Scheme portal. The process includes creating an account, filling out the application form with farm and land details, uploading required documents such as CNIC and proof of farm ownership, and submitting the application. Applicants can track their application status online using their credentials.
Punjab is a major beneficiary of Phase 3, with additional provincial support centers to assist farmers. The Chief Minister’s Green Tractor Scheme ensures that farmers in Punjab receive additional subsidized tractors to enhance farming efficiency.
Applicants must submit their applications before the official deadline, which is announced annually on government platforms. The scheme provides an important opportunity for farmers to modernize agriculture, increase productivity, and access affordable machinery tailored to their needs.
