Dongfeng Motor Pakistan is set to strengthen its presence in the local electric vehicle market with the upcoming launch of the Dongfeng Vigo EV. Known internationally as the Nammi 06, the Vigo EV is a compact all-electric SUV developed by China’s Dongfeng Motor and will mark the brand’s entry into Pakistan’s electric crossover segment.
Chawla Green Motors, which already offers the Dongfeng Box EV hatchback and the Dongfeng 007 EV sedan in Pakistan, plans to further expand its electric portfolio with the introduction of the Vigo EV. With this addition, the company aims to provide electric vehicles across multiple categories, including hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs, catering to a wider range of customers.
According to available specifications, the Dongfeng Vigo EV delivers a driving range of up to 350 kilometers under WLTP standards and is equipped with a 51.5 kWh battery pack. The electric SUV features a wheelbase of 2,715 mm and measures 4,306 mm in length, 1,868 mm in width, and 1,645 mm in height, offering a balanced combination of compact design and interior space.
The Vigo EV also comes with modern technology and safety features, including a 360-degree camera system and a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System, enhancing driver convenience and safety. Further information regarding pricing and the official launch schedule for the Dongfeng Vigo EV in Pakistan is expected to be announced closer to its market debut.
