Gold prices in Pakistan declined again after recording a sharp increase a day earlier, reflecting continued volatility in the precious metals market. After rising by Rs5,700 per tola in the previous session, gold witnessed a significant correction as prices fell by Rs4,700 per tola, bringing the latest rate to Rs455,562 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold also moved lower, dropping by Rs4,030 to settle at Rs390,570, indicating a broad-based decline in local gold rates.
In the global market, international gold prices followed a similar downward trend, falling by $47 per ounce to reach $4,332 per ounce.
Silver prices also experienced a decrease, as reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The price of silver dropped by Rs106 per tola, setting the new rate at Rs7,756 per tola.
