The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has announced an extension of the online admission deadlines for medical and dental colleges across Punjab. Applicants seeking admission to public sector medical colleges now have until November 30 to submit their forms, while the new deadline for private medical colleges has been set for December 15.
The decision was made during a meeting of the Provincial Admission Committee, chaired by the Secretary of Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education, Azmat Mahmood, with participation from vice chancellors of public medical universities. For public sector dental colleges, the application deadline has been extended to December 31, whereas candidates applying to BDS programs in private dental colleges can now submit applications until January 15, 2026.
The spokesperson for UHS stated that the previous cut-off date was November 21, but the timeline was extended to provide students with more time and ensure maximum participation. The committee unanimously agreed that the extension would allow more aspiring candidates to apply, facilitating greater access to medical and dental education opportunities throughout the province.
