FPSC Announces Final Result of CSS 2024 | Only 408 Candidates Qualify for Pakistan’s Elite Civil Service

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has officially announced the final result of the Central Superior Services (CSS) Examination 2024.

Out of 15,602 candidates who appeared in the written part of the competitive exam, only 397 successfully passed. After the final Viva Voce (interview) stage, 387 candidates were declared successful, comprising 207 males and 180 females. This brings the overall success rate to a mere 2.48%, highlighting the highly competitive nature of the CSS examination.

Of the 387 final qualifiers, 229 candidates have been recommended for appointment to various occupational groups and services under the federal government. These include 119 male and 110 female candidates, reflecting near gender parity in the final appointments.

The CSS exam continues to be one of the most prestigious and challenging career pathways in Pakistan, aimed at selecting future civil servants to serve in key administrative roles across the country.
