Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, through the National Institute of Intelligence and Security Studies, has invited applications from eligible candidates for multiple administrative, support and technical staff positions. Vacancies are available across various Basic Pay Scales, including Assistant Controller Examinations, Assistant Director Budget and Finance, Personal Assistant to the Director, Assistant, Naib Qasid, Sanitary Worker, Chowkidar or Guard, Driver, and an Accountant post re-advertised under the project leftover category.
The Assistant Controller Examinations position requires a master’s degree such as LLB along with at least four years of relevant administrative experience in a university or education department, or a bachelor’s degree with eight years of experience as a superintendent. The Assistant Director Budget and Finance role requires an M.Com or MBA in finance or accounting with a minimum of two years’ experience, or a B.Com or BBA with ten years of experience in audit and accounts within a government or education department. The Personal Assistant role requires a bachelor’s degree with strong shorthand and typing skills and at least three years of experience as a stenographer in a university, government or semi-government organization.
Other positions include Assistant with an FA or FSC qualification and strong computer skills, Naib Qasid, Sanitary Worker and Chowkidar or Guard roles for literate candidates with good physical fitness and relevant experience, and a Driver position for literate candidates meeting the prescribed licensing requirements. The re-advertised Accountant position requires a B.Com degree with five years of experience, preferably in accounts and audit within a university, government, semi-government department or development project.
Candidates already serving in government are required to apply through the proper channel. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests or interviews. No travel or daily allowance will be provided. Eligibility in terms of age, qualification and experience will be determined as of the closing date for applications. The competent authority reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
