The HMD Touch 4G is a budget-friendly mobile device that combines essential phone functionality with limited smart features, offering a modern alternative to basic feature phones. Priced at around $45, this hybrid device bridges the gap between smartphones and classic mobile phones, reminiscent of the Nokia Asha series.

Running on a custom lightweight real-time operating system known as RTOS Touch, the Touch 4G supports cloud-hosted applications through HMD’s Cloud Phone service. This setup allows users to access simplified versions of popular web apps without requiring high processing power. One of the key features is Express Chat, an integrated messaging platform that enables text, voice, and image sharing. It also supports cross-platform communication with Android and iOS users, provided the app is installed on both ends.

The device features a 3.2-inch QVGA LCD display with a resolution of 320×240 pixels. It includes a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. Under the hood, it’s powered by a Unisoc T127 chipset paired with 64MB of RAM and 128MB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. The Touch 4G is equipped with a 1,950 mAh battery that charges via USB-C, providing long standby times suitable for users who prioritize battery life over high performance.

Additional hardware features include IP52-rated dust and splash resistance, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi (802.11n), and mobile hotspot capability. The phone is available in Cyan and Dark Blue color options.

Designed for users looking for basic communication with a touch of smart functionality, the HMD Touch 4G offers practical features at a low price, making it an attractive option in emerging markets or as a secondary device.
