The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a new online biometric verification service for the sale and purchase of Islamabad-registered vehicles, enabling citizens to complete the process directly through the Pak-ID mobile app.
The authority announced that vehicle buyers and sellers can now perform biometric verification from home without visiting any office. Once the verification is completed digitally, users can proceed with the remaining transfer steps at the relevant excise department.
The new feature has been added under the “ICT Vehicle” section of the Pak-ID app, which already hosts several identity and verification services. According to NADRA, the upgrade aims to make vehicle transfers faster, more secure, and significantly more convenient for Islamabad residents.
