The assessment, conducted on 205 brands across the country, found that several contained dangerously high levels of arsenic, excessive sodium, bacterial contamination, and elevated TDS or potassium. These contaminants pose serious health risks, particularly for children, elderly individuals, and people with existing health conditions.

The bottled water brands identified as unsafe include A2Z Pure Drinking Water, New Mehran, My Pure Water, Zalmi, Pure Life, Smart Pure Life, Deer Drinking Water, Dream Pure, Gulf, Crystal Aqua, Ruha Water, Vividle, Pure Drinking Water, Premium Drinking Water, Fresh Aqua, Asia Healthy Drinking Water, Eltsen, Maya Premium Drinking Water, Purifa, Natural Pure Life, Isberg, Aqua Nest, Premium Safa Purified Water, Piyo Pani, Lasani, and Wolga. The PCRWR has advised consumers to stay updated on water quality reports, as contaminated bottled water can contribute to long-term health complications and should be avoided until further notice.
