The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has successfully arrested five individuals operating a cybercrime network from an illegal call center in Karachi. Additional Director Tariq Nawaz stated that the suspects were apprehended during a raid at a flat in DHA Phase 6, where they were allegedly involved in hacking bank accounts. Authorities seized mobile phones, specialized hacking equipment, and other digital tools from the site.

The call center, located in the Big Bukhari area of Phase 6, was reportedly the hub of an organized cybercrime operation. Officials revealed that the network primarily targeted overseas victims, accessing foreign bank accounts and transferring the stolen funds into multiple other accounts to conceal the activity. The owner of the call center is currently outside the country, according to investigators.

During the operation, authorities confiscated 11 computer CPUs, a laptop, 13 mobile phones, and several key documents connected to the crimes. A formal case has been registered against the suspects, and the NCCIA confirmed that further investigations are underway to dismantle the network and prevent future cybercrime incidents.
