The Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet has approved a Technical Supplementary Grant of Rs2.11 billion for the procurement of bullet-proof vehicles to meet operational and security requirements. The decision was made during a meeting at the Finance Division chaired by Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb.
In addition, the committee approved another Technical Supplementary Grant of Rs167.5 million to reward the Pakistan Under-19 Men’s Cricket Team for their international achievements. Under this proposal, each of the 15 players will receive Rs10 million, while match officials will be awarded Rs2.5 million each.
Officials stated that these approvals demonstrate the government’s commitment to addressing national security needs while also recognizing and incentivizing outstanding sporting accomplishments.
