Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the “Maryam Ko Batayein” Helpline 1000 to provide immediate financial assistance to low-income and deserving families during Ramadan, aiming to deliver fast and transparent emergency relief across Punjab.

Under the Ramadan relief initiative, families facing severe financial hardship can contact Helpline 1000 to request urgent cash assistance. The chief minister stated that no deserving household seeking help during the holy month will be left unsupported, reinforcing the provincial government’s commitment to targeted social protection.

According to the announced mechanism, eligible applicants will receive Rs. 10,000 within 24 hours after completing the verification process. Citizens can apply for the Ramadan financial assistance package through three channels: by calling Helpline 1000, using the official mobile application, or submitting their details via the designated online web portal. Applicants must provide their CNIC number to complete registration and verification.

To ensure transparency, accountability, and prevention of duplicate claims, applications will be verified through the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry and cross-checked with the database of the Benazir Income Support Programme. Financial aid will only be disbursed to individuals who meet eligibility criteria and are not already receiving benefits under other government relief schemes.

The provincial government stated that the helpline-based assistance model has been designed to deliver quick, efficient, and targeted cash support, ensuring that Ramadan relief funds reach genuinely deserving families without administrative delays.
