UAE Grants Visa-Free Entry to Pakistani Diplomats, Strengthening Bilateral Ties

The United Arab Emirates has announced visa-free entry for Pakistani passport holders carrying diplomatic and official passports, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral ties. This development emerged during the Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission session, which resumed after a ten-year hiatus, highlighting both countries’ intent to deepen cooperation in economic, strategic, and social sectors.

During the high-level meeting, Pakistan and the UAE signed several Memoranda of Understanding to enhance collaboration in trade, finance, healthcare, education, energy, and investment. A key outcome of the session was the establishment of a Joint Task Force to streamline visa processes, improve investment frameworks, and facilitate smoother economic exchanges between the two nations. This initiative reflects a renewed commitment to fostering strategic partnerships and boosting opportunities for collaboration across multiple sectors.
