The Sindh Education Department has instructed schools to collect free textbooks from students after annual examinations. Schools must record the return of books on students’ result cards and maintain a complete register of issued and returned textbooks.

All collected books are to be safely stored in school book banks for future use. The directive covers students from primary to higher secondary levels, ensuring that textbooks are returned across all grades.

District education officers are required to submit updated stock records of textbooks to the relevant regional directors. The initiative aims to improve inventory management and ensure the availability of textbooks for upcoming academic sessions.
