PERA Announces Recruitment of 500 Sergeant Drivers for Para Force Across Punjab

The Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) has announced a new recruitment drive for its Para Force, offering fresh employment opportunities to strengthen field operations across the province. The recruitment campaign aims to hire personnel from different districts of Punjab, ensuring fair representation through district-wise allocations.

Under this initiative, PERA will induct 500 individuals for Grade-7 positions as sergeant drivers. Candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria, including an age range of 18 to 25 years, a minimum education level of Intermediate, and a valid Light Transport Vehicle (LTV) driving license.

The selection process will assess both physical fitness and practical skills. Applicants are required to pass physical endurance tests and driving evaluations to demonstrate their suitability for the role. These assessments are designed to ensure safety, discipline, and efficiency within the force.

Interested candidates can submit their applications through the National Application Service online portal. PERA has advised applicants to complete the process carefully and provide accurate information to avoid disqualification.

The last date to apply is January 15, 2026. Authorities have encouraged eligible candidates to apply promptly, highlighting that these positions offer a valuable opportunity to serve in a disciplined force while contributing to law enforcement and regulatory duties across Punjab.
