The provincial government of Balochistan has announced a complete suspension of public bus transport services for three days, from 12 November to 14 November 2025, due to deteriorating law and order conditions across the region. The directive, issued by the Balochistan Transport Authority, mandates that all inter-city and intra-city bus operations, including both private and government-run fleets, remain halted during this period. Transport operators violating the ban may face cancellation of route permits and legal action. Security forces have intensified checks at major bus terminals and highway exit points, particularly around Quetta, the provincial capital. Officials stated that the suspension is a precautionary measure intended to prevent militant movement and ensure public safety amid the volatile security situation.
