The government of Saudi Arabia has issued strict penalties for failing to report visitors who overstay their visit visas. According to Saudi Public Security, individuals who do not notify authorities about overstaying visitors could face fines of up to SAR 50,000, imprisonment for up to six months, or both.

The authorities emphasized that citizens and residents must promptly report any visit visa holders who remain in the Kingdom beyond their allowed stay, warning that noncompliance will result in severe legal consequences. Expatriate residents who fail to report overstays may also be subject to deportation. The government further advised that neither Saudi nationals nor foreign residents should provide any assistance, including transportation, employment, housing, or shelter, to those violating residency, labor, or border regulations.
