The Esports World Cup Foundation has announced a $75 million prize pool for the 2026 Esports World Cup, equivalent to over 20 billion Pakistani rupees, set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 6 to August 23. More than 2,000 players representing 200 clubs from over 100 countries will compete across 25 tournaments and 24 games over a seven-week period.
The flagship EWC Club Championship will distribute $30 million among the top 24 clubs, with the winning club taking $7 million. This represents a $3 million increase from last year, emphasizing the foundation’s focus on rewarding both players and clubs that invest in esports. Individual game championships will account for over $39 million in prize money, with additional awards for MVPs and Jafonso Award winners who advance through Last Chance Qualifiers.
The 2026 lineup includes 24 competitive titles, with new additions Fortnite and Trackmania joining popular games such as League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, VALORANT, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, EA Sports FC 26, PUBG, PUBG Mobile, and Street Fighter 6. Multiple arenas will host simultaneous competitions, allowing several championships to take place in parallel during the event.
Tickets go on sale January 22 via esportsworldcup.com and international partners, with early bird options including weekly access passes, premium tournament passes, and hospitality packages. The 2025 Esports World Cup drew 750 million viewers globally, with 350 million hours watched and peak concurrent viewership reaching 7.98 million during the League of Legends tournament.
