Pakistan delivered a dominant performance against Australia in the third and final T20I, winning by a massive 111-run margin at Gaddafi Stadium, with Saim Ayub, Babar Azam, and Mohammad Nawaz leading the charge. Batting first, Pakistan posted a commanding 207 for 6, recovering from early setbacks. Opener Saim Ayub struck a fluent 56 off 37 balls, featuring six fours and two sixes, while Babar Azam anchored the innings with an unbeaten 50 off 36 balls. All-rounder Shadab Khan provided a late boost with a rapid 46 off 19 balls, including five sixes, helping Pakistan reach a challenging total for the visitors.

In response, Australia struggled from the outset, reduced to 16-3 in just 2.5 overs after Shaheen Afridi dismissed skipper Mitchell Marsh and Matthew Short and Matt Renshaw fell cheaply. Cameron Green and Marcus Stoinis managed a 44-run partnership, but Mohammad Nawaz broke the stand, claiming Stoinis’ wicket and triggering a collapse. Australia were eventually bowled out for 96 in 16.5 overs, with Adam Zampa not coming out to bat, handing Pakistan one of their largest T20I winning margins.

Mohammad Nawaz’s incisive bowling dismantled the Australian batting line-up, while Shaheen Afridi set the tone with early breakthroughs. Pakistan’s balanced performance with both bat and ball gave them a morale-boosting victory ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, highlighting the depth and talent in their squad. For Australia, Ben Dwarshuis was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 2 for 39, while Matthew Kuhnemann, Cameron Green, Cooper Connolly, and Matthew Short each took one wicket.
