The Sindh Education Department has officially announced the schedule for winter vacations across the province, covering both public and private educational institutions. The decision was finalized during a meeting of the department’s steering committee, which approved the annual winter break to provide students and teachers with a seasonal respite while keeping academic schedules on track.
According to the department’s spokesperson, all schools, colleges, and other educational institutions in Sindh will observe winter holidays from December 22 to December 31. Academic activities will resume on January 1, 2026, following the regular timetable.
The spokesperson emphasized that supplementary examinations conducted by the education boards will continue as scheduled during the holiday period, ensuring that exam timelines and academic progress are not disrupted. The winter break is intended to allow students and staff to rest and rejuvenate before the start of the new term, balancing seasonal relief with the continuity of education across the province.
