Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced revised school timings for the upcoming winter season to ensure the safety and comfort of students during cold weather. According to his post on X, all schools across the province will now open at 8:45 a.m. and close at 1:30 p.m. An official notification from the Punjab School Education Department is expected to be released soon to formalize these new timings.
The updated schedule is designed to reduce students’ exposure to cold temperatures during early morning hours and create a more manageable routine for both students and teachers. Similar adjustments have been implemented in previous winters to support the well-being of schoolchildren as temperatures drop across Punjab.
Rana Sikandar Hayat continues to use social media platforms to communicate key education reforms and administrative updates, keeping parents, teachers, and school staff informed about ongoing developments in the education sector.
