The Russia JINR Winter Student Program 2026 offers a fully funded opportunity for students under 30 to visit Dubna, Russia, and engage in cutting-edge science, engineering, and IT projects. Open to students worldwide currently in their 4th year of undergraduate studies, master's programs, or the first year of a PhD, this program aims to attract talented individuals interested in advancing their academic and professional careers in a global research environment. Participants will collaborate with specialists at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), gaining hands-on experience tackling real-world challenges.

The program lasts between six and eight weeks, covering all expenses including round-trip airfare from the participant’s home country, visa and health insurance costs, and accommodation. Additionally, participants receive a daily allowance of 2000 roubles. There are no application fees or IELTS requirements, making it accessible to eligible students. This winter exchange not only provides practical training but also fosters connections with international peers.

To be eligible, applicants must be studying in relevant fields such as science, technology, or engineering, and must not have participated in the START program previously. The application process is entirely online, requiring careful completion of the registration form and submission of all necessary documents before the deadline on October 30, 2025. This fully funded JINR Winter Student Program represents a unique chance to experience Russia while advancing expertise in nuclear research and related disciplines.
